Friends of Vision Welfare successfully held its 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Malawi Sun Hotel in Blantyre, bringing together members, leadership, and stakeholders to reflect on progress made and set direction for the future.
The AGM provided an important platform to review the organization’s activities, financial standing, and overall impact since its establishment. Members were presented with reports highlighting key achievements in resource mobilization, community support, and empowerment initiatives, particularly those targeting vulnerable individuals affected by disabilities, natural disasters, and socio-economic challenges.
During the meeting, leadership emphasized the importance of unity, transparency, and collective responsibility in driving the organization’s mission forward. Discussions focused on strengthening member participation, expanding support programs, and scaling up the village bank initiative aimed at promoting financial independence through small and large business ventures.
